ILLICH PARK

Public BBQ

Arriving Illich Park scorching Queensland afternoon quickly understood why locals recommend bringing own shade wisely. Sports fields stretch endlessly under relentless sun whilst playground equipment, mercifully designed with toddlers in mind, sits somewhat exposed unfortunately. Grass feels more patchwork stubble quilt than expected manicured lawns honestly though exercise equipment scattered about suggests community makes good space use resourcefully. Toilets serviceable if unremarkable functionally whilst undercurrent local safety concerns exists after dark cautiously, during daylight hours serves purpose well enough adequately. Just don't forget that chair critically.
